Have you considered the risks of towing your own vehicle from the sand? Snapping ropes, breaking chains, rolling cars, and even worse damage to the car could happen. We have a process that we go through in order to tow your car safely from the sand. We use soft straps, which are a nylon continuous loop strap; this allows the hookups to be more secure and safe. This strap attaches from the underside of the car which attaches to the wire rope which then hooks onto our tow truck.
We do not use chains for several reasons:
- They come undone
- They do more damage to the car
- Can snap and becomes dangerous
We use a steady pull and do not jerk your car. If you choose to do this to your car yourself, it will go nowhere. Before you decide to try and get yourself out of sand, consider the potential consequences of worse problems. We have the knowledge and experience to get your car out safely without further damage to your vehicle.
